Ho Chi Minh(Saigon) -Vietnam trip (20-24 Mar'10)

Hello...

I just got back from Saigon...Best giler...City tour best shopping pon best! Had a nice trip and experienced there...I went there with abah, mama n farid..only 4 of us...

Day 1:

Bertolak dr KL patutnye 5.40pm..tapi bile da check in, rupenye flite tukar jadi 6.40pm..Landed at Tan Son Nhat airport around 8pm Vietnam time (sejam lmbt dr Msia)..Kitorg dijemput oleh Den (our tourist guide) dan terus dibawa untuk dinner di Lion City Halal food (Singapore). After dinner, tros check in Palace Hotel..Letak brg, teros jalan2 around hotel @ Dong Khoi Street.. Kat sini byk shopping outlet yg best (Mango, Esprit, LV, Gucci etc)...

1st stop : Lion City Halal Restaurant (Singaporean food)

Good place to stay : Palace Hotel

Day 2:

Pagi2 check out hotel sbb hari ni kitorg akan tido kat Vung Tau (3 hours journey from Saigon)..In the morning, kitorg melawat Handicaped Handicraft..Then proceed to Cu Chi Tunnel. Tempat ni adalah tempat askar2 Viet Cong beroperasi.. Aku cam sgt impressed la tgk betapa kreatif nye diorg ni dlm mencipta mcm2 alat mempertahankan diri dan tempat persembunyian. Salute la... After Cu Chi, balik ke Saigon and lunch dkt Kedai Shamsuddin..Kedai ni ok la tapi environmentnye xberapa bersih sgt...Then, bertolak ke Vung Tau (bandar ni mcm PD) untuk
menikmati keindahan pantai disini~

Day 3:

Check out again for Vung Tau city tour before head back to Saigon. Maka bermulalah agenda shopping di Vietnam setelah tiba ke Saigon.. Start of with Binh Tay market @ Chinatown where this market is more like wholesale type..You can get yourself a good bargain here.. Banyak kain2, kasut etc murah2 kat cni.. Then proceed to Hong Anh Boutique.. Diorg jual byk pakaian melayu, telekung..Then Saigon Mai Collection which is just few doors away..Kat sni pon same but it is cheaper compared to the other shop.. Kedai ni boleh tawar menawar..Yang tadi tu xboleh langsung kurang even 1cent..huhu...Surprisingly, during my trip here, aku xsangka langsung yang aku boleh jumpe baju kurung moden, baju kurung pahang.. and even tudung siti dan tudung ekin pon diorg ade taw! haha....hasilnye dr hari ni punye shopping amatlah memberangsangkan.. yeayyy...best glerrrr. Dapat banyak baju kurung cntik2 untuk hari raya..Malam makan dkt Halal @ Saigon which the owner is Malaysian. After that, jalan2 kat night Benh Thanh market (ala2 pasar mlm).. kat sni byklah tshirt2 murah, beg, belt etc..mcm brg2 kat uptown tu...

Cantik kan baju kurung ni..Sangat suka sulam manik tu... (Bought in Hong Anh)

Day 4:

Hari ni pagi2 bertolak ke Mekong delta which is about 2 hour journey from Saigon. Mekong sgtlah best..rugi if xpergi kalau korang berkesempatan melawat saigon satu hari nnt..Kat sni, kite berpeluang merasai life sebenar vietnamese. Kite akan dibawa mengelilingi sungai mekong menaiki boat dan singgah beberapa pulau. Pulau pertama kitorg singgah untuk tgk pembuatan madu lebah di kampung. Kemudian, jalan2 menaiki titi, lalu dusun2...sangat menyamankan dan menenangkan jiwa.. Then, stop untuk rase buah2an tempatan seperti ciku, buah naga, betik etc sambil dipersembahkan nyanyian traditional vietnam..Kemudian, kitorg naek bot balik menuju ke pulau seterusnya.. Kat sni kitorg dpt tgk pembuatan santan, sabun dr kelapa, gula2 kelapa dan semua yang berasaskan kelapa..Last island, paling best! Kitrorg turun boat, jalan2 kemudian naek sampan yang di dayung org2 tempatan situ. Satu sampan maksimum 4 penumpang. Kitorg naek dan pakai topi vietnam tu..Memang feel vietnam habis r tyme tu...best r..a very good experience that i think its hard to get elsewhere..Sapa yang come out dgn idea nak wat pulau stop2 mcm ni teramatlah brilliant! thumbs up! (",) .. Balik ke Saigon, dinner kat Vietnam Halal Restaurant..Then back to hotel..penat giler hari niiiii~

Day 5:

The famous Benh Thanh Market

Hari terakhir kat sni, dihabiskan dengan bershopping lagi..Pagi2 pergi lagi kedai butik Saigon Mai dan Hong Anh tu..Byk jumpe pemborong2 kain kat Malaysia.. Rupe2 nye diorg amek stok semua dr sni...Last stop for shopping is back to Benh Thanh market untuk beli souvenirs mcm embroidery, handmade bag, buah2, fridge magnet etc... Check out hotel and have lunch at Bon Mua 4 seasons restaurant. Kemudian, terus ke airport utk penerbangan pulang ke Malaysia tanah tumpah darahku...

Bye2 Saigon... See you again~

Camtula lebih kurang trip aku di Saigon selama 5 Hari 4 Malam ni... A very good experience and a very good place to visit and shopping of course... If you are thinking where to go for your next holiday, please consider Saigon.. It is a place that everyone must visit! Chiaoooooo~

Seumur hidup aku xpernah ada haiwan peliharaan and sebenarnye aku xsuke pon nak pegang pape haiwan sebelum ni. Tapi, bile tgk rabbit ni, I just cant stop myself to buy it. And I did bought it! Tapikan.. someone else has to take care of it! Hahaha....

Scrabble

This is the story of an activity that I love so much....

For the past 1 and half year, I am so crazy of playing Scrabble..Sebelum ni, ada jugak maen, tapi just for fun.. but after joining NST ASTAR International Scrabble Challenge, I feel so addicted to it.. Serius best gile beb... Weehuuuuuu!

At the NST ASTAR International Scrabble Challenge 2010 - UM

A brief introduction - Scrabble is a word game in which 2-4 player score points by forming words from individual tiles..The words are formed across and down... Normally 1 player will play for 25 minutes each around (deducts 10 points for each 1 minute delay) ..

We could challenge the word if we are not sure of the opponent’s word. If we are right, the opponent will miss a turn. That is the basic thing we have to know when we are playing Scrabble.. And not to forget, Scrabble is not a game of forming the longest word (unless you can finished all tiles in 1 turn where you will get extra 50 points) ..

It is a game where you have to be creative in putting the tiles on the best place and being able to find them in a jumbled set of letters. Sometimes just by putting 2 letters such as QI or ZO, we could score to 70 points... Sounds interesting kan?

This is an example of Scrabble game I played in UiTM Competition.. I won first place!

A lot of new words I have learned since playing Scrabble... Contohnye, ZAMIA (I scored 100 point by forming this word!), PADANG, SIAL, QADI, LADINO, ZOEAE, WAQS, dan banyak lagilah...

Satu lagi mende penting yg kita harus tahu adalah 2 letter words and 3 letter words... If kite hafal words dlm 2 letter and 3 letter, you are on your way to be a good scrabble player...

Interestingly, playing Scrabble doesn’t require u to have good English, it is depend on how many words you know and how creative are u to form the words. Most player that I have met, know a lot of words, but if you ask me or them what is the meaning, we will answer, TAK TAHU... HaHa....

Tapi lagi bagus la if maen Scrabble and kite blaja perkataan baru dan maksudnya.. It will be more beneficial... Kan? ('',)

Haaaaalllluuuu everyone!

Finally! Lepas semua orang duk bising2 suruh aku tulis blog, akhirnya aku berjaya jua menyiapkan blogku ini...Yeehhaaaa (Sambil melompat2 keriangan seperti kanak2 mendapat gula-gula)~

Hurmm....Actually, I have been wanted to write something like a diary of myself in a blog for a quite sometime, But.....I couldnt manage it...... mmm....lack of time maybe (chewah...padahal alasan je tu!)... Mcm best gile bile bukak blog org & baca mcm2 cerita n events yg terjadi kt dlm daily life diorang...Baru aku tau rupe-rupenye banyak mende yang jadi dlm hidup ni, boleh kite kongsikan ngan kwn2 n org2 disekeliling kite.......



And I think, I should share my thoughts and experience as well...Kot-kotla ada yang boleh dijadikan teladan untuk korang...hahaha....Dan semestinya juge, aku pon ade banyak sgt2 mende menarik yg terjadi dlm setiap hari kehidupan aku yang boleh aku kongsikan bersama....Pahit maung, suka duka semuanya boleh aku ceritakan kat sini...
